Julianna Duque

I wouldn't say I'm a normal person. Then again, everyone is different in there own way. So I guess that makes us all weird and unique in our own little way. Hello! My name is Julianna Duque and I am 15 years old. I was born and raised in the Philippines until I was seven. We relocated to Baltimore, Maryland for about a year, moved back to the Philippines for another year, and finally settled in for good here in the wonderful city of Chula Vista. I liked it here immediately, and couldn't find a single thing I didn't like about living in California.

I am part of Olympian's JV Academic League team, and I am really proud to be a part of it. Everyone in the team is just absolutely wonderful, intelligent, and everyone treats each other with respect. Even though the practices take up a lot of time later on in the school year, I know that it only makes everyone better. I look up to everyone in the team, and want to be just as successful as them.

I like dinosaurs, astronomy, and music. I have a dinosaur named Charlie, and I take him everywhere I go. I find astronomy very interesting and would like to be an astronomer and/or astronaut when I grow up. I play piano, guitar, and violin. I love classical and baroque music, and my favorite composers are Bach, Chopin, and Vivaldi. I like falling asleep to that kind of music, especially Vivaldi's Winter from the Four Seasons, Fugue in G Minor, and Bradenburg Concerto No. 3, which is both by Bach (told you I'm weird).

And to top everything off, I am a bit of Grammar Nazi, so I think this blog will be a good thing for everyone. It's also great way to write about certain topics, and have everyone else read and comment on what you wrote.

  2. I love dinosaurs too! I would love to meet Charlie sometime. Oh and I thought I was the only person that actually fell asleep to music, its good to know I am not alone.
