Final salute

In the article "Final Salute" by Jim Sheeler, a Marine dies during war. Deep sorrow is brought upon his family when Major Steve Beck tells about the casualty. But losing someone, close or not, is not a chance to give up on life, but to rather stay strong and fight through the pain. Beck tells reporters, "In this business, I can't save his life. All I can do is catch the family while they're falling," (Sheeler, 4). No one can bring him or her back, and another death will just cause more sadness in an unfair world. The death of a beloved son, husband, or friend is devastating, but life goes on and does not stop for one person.
