What I got out of the " The Final Salute " is that one death can really devastate a family and loving friends . The pain inflected on the victims close ones is unbearable and to think that his 23 year old pregnant wife has lost his soul mate and now has to stay strong but to not only for her but for that baby that she is carrying . Soldiers like Cathey should be honored for all they have done to keep our country safe this loss will not be forgotten as he is a hero figure to everyone . People who did not even meet him were impacted by this tragedy it comes to show how horrrible the site of a soldier coming home in a casket is .
